Myriam A. Hernandez is a Senior Librarian at the Fort Worth Public Library. In this role, she coordinates and develops curriculum for adult education programs. Myriam graduated with her master’s degree in library science from the University of North Texas in 2014. She has worked in public, academic, and special libraries in diverse roles such as administration, community outreach, technical services, instruction, reference, and access services. Myriam has been part of international projects that fostered collaboration between librarians from United States, Mexico, and Costa Rica. She is passionate about working with adult learners and has been working on programs that serve English learners since 2013.
